understands architectural preservation as a dialogue between the old and new. In a long standing experience of new additions to the existing historic and protected context, we have been involved in new projects for the Neo-Georgian Homewood Campus of the Johns Hopkins University (Williams&Tsien Arts Center) and planning for the Bloomberg School of Public Health addition to the initial historic building (Ziger&Snead project). As holders of the state license for work on historic buildings (protection, preservation, documents production), we have recently been involved in a few major historic buildings renovations in Zagreb: Hugo Erlich’s building in Ilica 38 (Unicredito branch office), Bela Auer’s house at Goljak, Ignjat Fischer’s building at Jelačić Square - the main city square (Unicredito office building and the main branch office).
